glock 43 vs 43x size

Glock 43 Vs 43x Size - Are you deciding between the Glock 43X and 43? To help you decide between the 43x and 43, we're going to compare and review the Glock 43 vs. the Glock 43.

Glock can often be a step behind the concealed carry market, for better or worse. We cover all the ins and outs of these guns in this Glock G43x review.

Glock 43 Vs 43x Size

If you are looking for a full Glock 43X MOS review, we have that on our blog as well.

Glock 43 Vs Glock 43x

The bad news is that it will take time for them to come up with a small single stack 9mm to compete with any other manufacturers on the market. The good news is that they take their time, and when it comes to making a new gun, they always seem to work.

The Glock43 premiered to critical acclaim and has become one of Glock's most popular pistols. 43 was the first 9mm, single-stack, subcompact pistol produced by Glock. The Glock 43 was an instant winner in the concealed carry market and has now sold over a million different models.

The Glock 43X is the newest and weirdest of the Glock family. For the X series, you have to go back to the 19X, which was the weapon in the Army's new pistol program. The 19X was lost, but was a popular pistol with over 100,000 sold a year. Thanks to the amazing reviews of the Glock g43, the Glock 43 has now sold over a million pistols.

Put the two together and we get the new Glock 43X. The G19X is a Glock 19 compact slide in a full size Glock 17 frame. The Glock 43X uses the same G43 slide and barrel, but with an extended frame that offers a full-length grip.

Concealed Carry Comparison: Glock 43x Vs 48

Both guns are compact, both 9mm, both Glocks, so which gun is better? More importantly, which one is best for you?

The dimensions of the Glock 43 make it the perfect compact Glock. It's like any other Glock, minus the size. It is smaller and thinner than any other 9mm Glock. It has completely no finger grooves and only posterior teeth. Glock guns are best described as Spartan. They are simple yet effective in appearance. Of course, the frame is polymer, and the slide is all black and features a black nitride Glock 43 slide.

The black nitride finish has proven to be very durable and extremely durable. Glock pistols are used by police and military forces all over the world, and you won't hear any complaints about the finish. This eliminates wear and resistance to general corrosion and rust.

Glock 43 Vs 43x Size

As long as the finish is solid and simple, it works. It's a great complement to your body and a gun that will likely be locked up for most of its life.

Glock 26 Vs Glock 43

The Glock 43X went in a completely different direction and you're looking at something that is well different from the dimensions of the Gloxk 43. The G43X uses an nPVD coating that is strong, durable and corrosion resistant.

The main difference is that the PVD finish is silver and gives the gun a crisp look. This sets it apart from the standard Black Glock. In addition, the G43X has a forward slide that is not available in the standard Glock 43 size.

If I had to pick a gun and be done with it, it would be the Glock 43X. I love the stainless look and this new gun looks great. The finishing is also solid and gives it a unique look in the world of Glocks.

The Glock 48 is another Glock that looks and feels similar to the Glock 43X. It's just bigger. Our blog has a full comparison of the Glock 48 and the Glock 43X.

Glock 43 Vs. Sig Sauer P938

These guns are very similar and although they share a model number, they are very different. The G43X is larger than the G43 and this is due to the increased grip length. The G43X is 5.04 inches tall, while the G43 is a shorter 4.25 inches.

This allows the G43X to have more capacity than the G43. The Glovk 43x holds ten rounds and 1 round in the tube. The G43 holds six rounds with one in the pipeline.

A short grip also makes your weapon easier to conceal, and gives you an advantage when it comes to smaller body types or light clothing. In terms of weight, the G43X barely weighs, and I mean a fraction of an ounce. The G43X weighs 18 ounces, while the Glock G43 weighs 17.99 ounces. Once loaded, we see a huge difference between 10 and six rounds.

Glock 43 Vs 43x Size

The G43X weighs 23.07 ounces loaded, while the 43 weighs 20.64 ounces. An interesting difference is the width of the G43X and the width of the Glock 43. It's 0.04 inches thicker than the G43. It's an odd addition, but it's there.

Glock G43 Vs Glock G43x Size Comparison

Both the G43 and G43X are short guns with the G43 having a barrel length of 3.41 inches, while the Glock x43 is 6.5 inches long overall. The overall length of the Glock 43 is 6.26 inches.

The G43's compact design and light weight make it attractive to those who find it difficult to carry a large gun. The Micro Nine can also be a pocket gun. The G43X is best suited for those who like to operate their guns simply. We cover them all in this Glock G43 review.

Taking one out of the box leads me to say that the G43X is better in the ergonomics department. Its long handle fills the hand and prevents the pinky from hanging off the end of the handle.

In that sense it is very similar to the Sig P365XL. Although it's a very slim grip, it's still big enough for a full grip. You can find our Sig P365XL vs Glock 43X comparison on our blog.

Glock 43 Comapared To The Pm (makarov)

This makes the gun feel more comfortable and overall ergonomic. Easy to hold, point and aim. The larger g43 grip provides more grip than a standard grip and makes the gun easier to draw.

When the gun is holstered, this large grip becomes a great concealment gun. The dimensions of the Glock 43 make it easy to conceal and sit comfortably in your hand with the pink extended precision magazine.

Both guns also feature a rear slide lug, a trigger safety, and a nice slide lock with a magazine release button for right- or left-handed shooters.

Glock 43 Vs 43x Size

I'm not a big fan of the Glock slide lock and find it too small and can be easily depressed by the right grip. The G43X has front derailleur teeth that the G43 lacks. The G43X has a beavertail built into the frame which I like.

Is The Glock 48 The New \

Standard Gaak 43 has a bad habit of biting my hand. Adding a beaver tail to the G43X adds a layer of protection between your hand and the slide. I never had a slide while shooting the Goock 43X. The beaver also adds another level of control to the gun, especially when turning.

A final difference is the launch distance. The new Glock G43 has a shorter trigger distance of 2.56 inches compared to the longer 2.64 inches of the G43X.

Another factor to consider is hand strength. Interestingly, people with weak hand strength can easily hold the G43X because of their grip. Also, the slide seems a bit easier to install than the original Glock 43 gen 4.

The G43 was Glock's first foray into the nine-stack category, and as a small gun, it's not heavy on features. It still has the Glock safe action system with a Glock polymer magazine with three different safeties. The G43X and G43 share most of the same features.

Glock G43x Subcompact Semi Auto Pistol

It features the previously mentioned reversible magazine release, Glock target sights, Gen 5 smooth non-groove grips, and an overall low profile.

The Glock 43X has a 5th generation rifled barrel. This is a match grade barrel that has proven to be very accurate and reliable.

The G43X also features a highly visible follower that makes it quick and easy to see how well the magazine is loaded. Sight holes make it easy to see the bright orange follower.

Glock 43 Vs 43x Size

Additionally, the Glock 43X has forward slide serrations that we don't often see on Glock pistols (although many believe Glock will start adding them to more pistols).

Glock 43 Vs. Glock 43x For Edc

Neither rifle comes with a rail, but in talking to Crimson Trace, I learned that the Laserguard made for the G43 fits the G43X. Unfortunately, aftermarket magazines that fit the G43 will not fit the G43X, and the G43 cannot accept longer G43X magazines. Glock

glock 43 vs 45

Glock 43 Vs 45 - You all ask for it and see. Also, I should warn everyone about the numbers I use to create the comparison images. I'm using a picture of a Glock 43 that's online today, about the same size as the picture on the Recoil magazine page in this post (6.26″ long). I converted the image below into a vector image and placed it on top of other vector images of other popular guns.

Disclaimer: I don't own a Glock 43 and this method is not perfect. The pictures of the different guns are taken from slightly different angles, which may throw things off a bit here or there, but this should be good enough to give you a basic idea of the size of this new Glock 43, given numbers. I'm good at work. (Last year I got the wrong number for a Remington R51 and almost broke the internet.)

Glock 43 Vs 45

Glock 43 Vs 45

I am happy about it. A lot of people complain about the 6+1 capacity and I would prefer to see a 7+1 but after reading all the pictures above I think I'm fine with the 6+1 because it looks like a Glock . The 43 should be a good nine "bag", while the XD and Shield are too big for my bag. It looks like a winner, I hope to get it in a few weeks. I'm glad it's finally here!

Edit: I finally shot the Glock 43 and it was pretty cool. If you want to hear about it, we talk a little bit about it in the beginning of episode 130 of the Triangle Tactical Podcast. You can also find it on iTunes or Stitcher.

glock 43 vs glock 43x

Glock 43 Vs Glock 43x - When looking for a concealed carry pistol, there are often two main contenders that have enough features to distinguish one from the other. In this case, let's compare the Glock 43 and the Glock 43X, a compact single row pair from the same manufacturer.

Glock pistols are known for their quality, accuracy and reliability. Amokarky cartridges are famous for their double magazines and polymer frames. The only concealed carry pistol in 9mm was not their forte until they released the Glock 43 on April 14, 2015.

Glock 43 Vs Glock 43x

Glock 43 Vs Glock 43x

The G43 followed a slightly smaller cartridge in the 380 ACP called the G42. The main competitor of the G43 at the time was the S&W M&P Shield series of pistols. The Shield pistol was designed as a small handgun, and Glock realized that this was the market share to count on.

Springfield Hellcat Vs Glock 43x

However, some G43 shooters expressed dissatisfaction with the new portable Glock pistol. That is, they found very little. For some, it is too narrow, for others, the length of the handle is too small for accurate and comfortable shooting. The simple answer would be to add a magazine extension that could add an extra round to the magazine capacity, but really all that was needed was a longer grip.

Glock responded to the call with the G43X. The pistol is slightly larger, single-holstered, longer and has a 10-round magazine instead of the 6-round magazine of the G43. So which one is better? Learn more about 43 and 43X below.

The names of the two pistols are so similar that it can be a little confusing for those new to shooting or the Glock family of firearms. However, they are sufficiently different and have unique advantages that a more detailed comparison is required.

Although the two subcompact Glock pistols look similar in appearance, the difference between the 43 and 43X is enough that it would be better if Glock used a different number in the nomenclature rather than adding an X to the naming convention.

Glock G43 Vs Glock G43x Size Comparison

As mentioned earlier, the G43 is a compact concealed carry pistol with a single magazine. Due to its very small dimensions, it can rightly be called a compact Glock. The barrel length is 3.41 inches and the pistol is 6.26 inches long. The width is 1.08 inches and the height of this pistol is 4.25 inches. Holds 6 rounds in factory magazine and weighs 20.64 oz.

In contrast, the slightly larger Glock 43X has the same barrel length, but the overall length is 6.05 inches. Because the 10-round magazine requires a slightly longer frame, it has an increased slide length and is 5.04 inches long. It weighs 23.07 ounces. The main notable difference is that the shutter has an nPVD silver coating, as opposed to the plain black G43 coating. However, Glock recently released a black 43X slide.

Both pistols lack the extra hardware that has become a staple of most Glock models over the past 20 years. This was probably done to increase the stealth of each pistol. However, some companies such as Streamlight offer visible white lights and visible lasers surrounding the trigger guard. This allows the shooter to add a compact and reliable flashlight to the weapon.

Glock 43 Vs Glock 43x

The new version of the 43X includes an optical mounting plate as an upgrade. There is currently no such option for the G43.

Sig P365x Macro Vs Glock G43 W/ Xgrip. Nearly The Same Size But Double The Capacity.

The only significant difference between the two pistols is that the 43X's action is equipped with a front choke, while the G43 only has a rear choke on the action. This is an acceptable option for shooters who don't have enough arm strength to simply hold the rear burst and break the bolt. Checking the press is not a bad idea, especially during tactical pistol training.

The larger G43X product increases the capacity of the factory magazine. In this case, it is 10 rounds, as opposed to 6 rounds of G43. It should be noted that magazines between G43 and G43X are not interchangeable. So when looking for a replacement magazine for your pistol, make sure you choose the right magazine.

If you have large hands, the extra length of the G43X grip with a longer magazine and increased capacity might make sense.

Subcompact pistols such as the G43 and G43X are not suitable for drivers due to their short aiming radius, compact ergonomics, and relatively light weight. However, based on reviews online or in various gun magazines, both pistols are quite accurate depending on the ammo and skill level of the shooter.

Glock 43, 43x Trigger Guard Tuckable Holster

Average accuracy for the G43 and G43X is 2-3 inches out to 50 feet. This is something that can be improved by adding sequential actuators or a red dot micro-sight like the one from Shield Systems so you can slide smoothly over the action of these compact pistols. Upgrade your Glock by purchasing our triggers and other upgrades today!

Differences in accuracy depending on the shot can be significant. A shooter with particularly large hands may find the 43X more accurate than the 43, which is slightly wider and longer. A shooter with smaller hands may find the opposite. In fact, most shooters won't notice a difference in accuracy. Through trial and error, you can borrow a gun from a friend to shoot, or frequent an indoor shooting range with a good rental device to determine what works best for you.

Small arms like this are often unfairly criticized and are often criticized for being “carrying; shoot often. Carrying around often is never a bad thing; there may be frequent shooting. Both pistols are reliable and fairly accurate. The 43X offers the best pistol grip for most shooters and should win in the accuracy department if the shooter doesn't have special hands.

Glock 43 Vs Glock 43x

There don't seem to be any major issues with these micro-Glocks in terms of performance or reliability. As with all Glock pistols, there is a development and testing process before being released to the market. Each of them performs at the desired level before going public.

Glock 43x Review

With all this information in mind and no small Glocks on hand; 43X might be more attractive. A more comfortable grip frame, increased magazine capacity, and a silver breech seems like a big improvement and makes for a better gun, doesn't it?

You have to move away from the written word and pretty pictures and physically assemble them to see how they work and how they feel.

If the G43 has a distinct advantage over its smaller sibling, the 43X, it may be somewhat hidden. Reading the measurement comparison above may not reveal this, but trying to wear one or the other in an accessory holster or ankle holster will reveal the difference.

One thing is for sure, the hardest part about concealing a weapon is the hilt. It may not be as wide or long as a clip frame on a 10mm G20 or G40, but sometimes an inch or a fraction of an inch can make a big difference between a concealed and "printed" gun. Similarly, the G43 may be better suited for heel lift.

Glock 43x (g43x) Simline, Single Stack Sub Compact/compact Concealed Carry (ccw) Pistol With 10 Rounds Of 9mm Firepower! (video!)

It all depends on how comfortable you feel as a shooter with the G43 or G43X. Hand size can play a role, as can privacy. While the pistol can be carried openly rather than concealed, an open-carrying shooter may look to the larger, easier-to-shoot G19 or G17 models rather than these smaller, compact Glocks.

Other things being equal, aesthetics can fall. Some may prefer the 43X silver finish over the G43 black finish. For some shooters it may be the other way around.

Ultimately, it's up to you. The small size and increased magazine capacity may appeal to some shooters, while others will appreciate the smaller size and weight of the G43. Most importantly, we can't go wrong with any of these pistols. It all depends on your personal preferences. Choice between Glock 43X and 43? glock 43 vs glock 26

glock 43 vs glock 26

Glock 43 Vs Glock 26 - The Glock 43 was first introduced to the US market in 2015. The Glock 26 was introduced to the feds in 1994. The Feds wanted a concealable Glock that holds 10 rounds. The Glock 19 is obviously the right choice of gun, but the FBI idiots who wanted something as ignorant as their 40 cal. If you don't feel like reading, here's a quick summary; Both guns are now obsolete in their capabilities and offerings. The Glock 43 can be used as an ankle gun. The Glock 26 should be discontinued by now, but the feds still love the platform (because the FBI once carried it). Buy a Glock 43X MOS instead of a Glock 43, and a damn Glock 19 instead of a Glock 26. Holster technology today is much better than it was when the Glock 26 was introduced.

Carry a Glock 26 in a Glock 19 holster, and the gun will actually be concealed. The Glock 26 has a short muzzle that does not press against the body. The same goes for the Glock 43. Neither platform has a "nail" deep enough to hold the gun directly against the body.

If you choose to carry one of these two weapon systems, we recommend sizing up to the next holster size. In this case, we make the Glock 19 KYDEX pistol, and the Glock 48 KYDEX pistol. They are awesome KYDEX IWB pistols! We're a bit biased but check them out. https:///product/quick-ship-appendix-with-claw/. Each of these options for the respective model will greatly increase the user's ability to conceal those firearms.

Glock 42 Is Glock's Smallest Handgun: Review

The Glock 26 has a 10-round capacity in a standard double-stack 9mm Glock magazine. This means that the grip itself is as thick as a Glock 19. It was designed to have only two support fingers under the trigger guard, with a floating pinky. This makes the gun more difficult to shoot than the standard Glock 19. It has less contact with the user's hand, which means less control over quick follow-up shots. A quality master grip is hard to achieve with a Glock 26.

The Glock 43 has a pink extension magazine and a flush magazine. The pinky extension magazine is definitely more comfortable and shootable. The small, thin grip on the Glock 43 is difficult to hold. I have very large hands, and I find myself readjusting my grip every few shots to maintain a strong master grip. The Glock 43 has a 6+1 capacity. There are a number of mag extension options out there. Taran expands Tactical +3. Hyve Technologies also makes quality extensions.

They are both booty. Buy better guns with optic ready and light compatibility. The Glock 19 MOS or Zev Tech OZ9C are better alternatives to the Glock 26. The Glock 43X MOS or Glock 48 MOS are great alternatives to the Glock 43 if you want to stay in the Glock family. Shield Arms makes a 15 round capacity 43X/48 metal body magazine. The best alternative to the Glock 43 is the Sig Sauer P365. It has the same footprint, but has a capacity of 10 shots.

Here you can find the ANR Design website, YouTube, Facebook business page, Twitter and Twitch accounts! Podcast Streaming! Let's take a look at two popular Glock options for concealed carry - the G26 and G43.

Glock 43 Subcompact Semi Auto Pistol

If you've decided to get a Baby Glock, you're not alone. The company's subcompact models are extremely popular among concealed carriers. However, the ongoing heated debate is between the Glock 26 versus the Glock 43. Both models have a lot to offer, especially in the concealment and reliability departments.

While we probably won't be able to settle that argument here, we'll dive into the specs so you can make an informed decision about which Petite Polymer 9mm pistol will work best for you.

Even on paper, the differences between these two subcompact pistols are minimal. The biggest difference is that the cartridges are stacked in their magazine.

Glock 43 Vs Glock 26

The G43 has a single-stack magazine. Rounds in single-stack magazines are arranged in a single vertical column.

Glock 43 & 26

The G26 has a double stack magazine. Double magazines place their rounds in a sort of back-and-forth, zigzag pattern. The cartridges are arranged in two columns. The cartridges at the top of each column are fed into the chamber of the gun in turn. The design makes the magazine (and the pistol that holds it) wider than a stack. However, the double-stack configuration holds more rounds in a smaller area, with about 1½ times more cartridges in the same vertical space.

The length and height of the G26 and G43 are quite similar. The G26 is slightly longer, wider and heavier, but not by much. The most noticeable difference in dimensions is the width. Although a quarter of an inch doesn't seem like much, it can make a world of difference in effective concealment. A slim profile allows the G43 to easily disappear under anything in your closet, especially in a good IWB holster.

While both pistols are fairly easy to conceal, the slim dimensions of the G43 make it particularly suitable for pocket carry. However, due to the Glock's light trigger and lack of an external safety, it's downright silly to slip it into your pocket without a proper holster.

The grip of the G43 is as narrow as .24 inches. However, it provides slightly more real estate thanks to the extra .08 inches of length. If that doesn't sound like much, you're right.

Around The Block With The Glock 43

With the average human pinky being about .3 inches wide, the extra .08 inches of grip height will still cause most people to slip under the grip. Fortunately, pinky extension magazines are available for both models, but every extra inch you add to these guns prevents them from concealment, which is really their best feature.

Which grip is better? This is largely a matter of opinion. There are many articles on the internet that claim that the narrow frame of the single stack makes it easier for small hands to control. Most of these articles are written by friends with big feet. The truth is, shooters with smaller hands benefit from having something special to grip. Neither the G43 nor the G26 has a large enough grip for someone with small hands to control. In fact, the slim dimensions of the G43 can make it difficult for some shooters (no matter the size of their hand) to maintain a firm, confident grip. The single stack has a tendency to slip out of some shooters' hands while shooting, especially when those hands are sweaty.

Smaller guns are notoriously harder to control, whether you have hands or the palms and fingers of a pretty lady. Having a small grip on a gun that is already difficult to control only adds to the difficulty.

Glock 43 Vs Glock 26

But here's the thing: every shooter is different. The best way to find out if a clutch will work for you is to give it a thorough test. Do this test at the range, not on the show floor. Just because a gun "feels right in your hand" in the store doesn't mean you'll be able to maintain a proper grip through multiple shots. Withdrawal can be a big upset game changer.

Glock 42 Vs 43: What Is The Difference?

One advantage of the G26 is that it accepts Glock 19 and Glock 17 magazines. This can be a handy advantage at a distance. It also means you can carry the G26 as a backup. If your primary weapon is a G17 or G19, you can share spare magazines with your spare pistol.

Because the G26 holds four more rounds than the G43, it is also slightly heavier. Those four rounds make the G26 tip the scales at just 26 ounces. That's still only 6 ounces more than a fully loaded G43.

However, an extra six ounces can help absorb some of the sharper recoil micro pistols are known for. Because of their short barrel length, subcompact pistols can require more work to maintain control, especially for inexperienced shooters. And while both Glocks are relatively easy to handle, the extra weight (and extra grip width) gives the G26 a slight advantage in countermeasures.

Both are easy to conceal for the average shooter, although if you're looking for a deep concealment backup pistol, the G43's slim profile gives it a slight advantage.

Concealed Carry Corner: Glock G43 Vs G43x By The Numbers The Firearm Blog

Glock always debates which of these models is the best when introducing a new model. This debate is no different, and Glock's attempt to resolve it is the G43X.

Basically a Glock 43 with the capacity of a Glock 26, the G43X has a slightly wider frame (1.2 inches) and a little more real estate on the grip, making it similar in length to the Glock 19, but with a slimmer, single. stack configuration. It provides a slimmer profile than the G26 with the same magazine capacity (10 plus 1).

This means it is just as concealable as the G43 but offers a few extra rounds that could save your life in a dangerous situation.

The Glock 42 measures 4.13" high, 5.94" long and 0.98" wide, with a barrel length of 3.24" and weighs 13.76 ounces. The Glock 43 comes in at over 4 ounces more than the 42, at 17.99 ounces. 43 is 4.25", 6.26" long and 1.06" wide, with a barrel length of 3.41".

Glock's New G43x And G48 Pistols Vs. The Glock 43 And Glock 19

If you look at their capabilities, these two small but powerful pistols are similar. Both come standard with a 6-round magazine, although additional magazines are available if you want to increase capacity.

The frames of the Glock 42 and Glock 43 are almost identical. Both are built with a black polymer frame and built-in beaver tail design for a high, tight grip.

It's worth noting that none of these guns are custom, meaning you won't be able to replace the rear strap, but that's unusual for a gun of this size.

The Glock 42 and Glock 43 have Tenifer-coated, legal-grade steel slides. Although the materials and performance of the slide are the same for both of these pistols, the Glock 43 slide is slightly larger. Ultimately, that means you'll have an easier time hitting it than 42.

In terms of recoil, the 43 will usually have less recoil due to the caliber difference. However, both of these weapons can fire, even for people who are sensitive to recoil.

You won't find anything special about the sights in any of these guns. The Glock 42 and Glock 43 came standard with Glock plastic sights. Don't worry, though, as both models can easily be upgraded to your preferred location.

While the Glock 42 does not come in a sight-ready version, the Glock 43X MOS is a recent release and can be fitted with a red dot.

Glock 43 Vs Glock 42

Although neither the Glock 42 nor the Glock 43 has a manual safety feature, both have a Safe Action System. The system has three independent mechanical shutters that disengage when the trigger is pulled and re-engage when released. Safe Action System provides protection if the gun is dropped.

Glock 26 Vs. Glock 43

You might think the triggers on these two guns would be the same since they are the same generation (Gen4), but the 43's trigger is slightly different. Compared to the 42's trigger, the Glock 43's trigger has a heavier and stiffer pause for shorter recoil. 42, on the other hand, has a lighter take and more breaks to move.

Ultimately, what is best for you depends on your needs. You can't go wrong with any home defense or concealed carry options.

When you compare the Glock 42 vs 43, you will find obvious differences such as size and caliber, as well as subtle differences. If you're looking for a smaller Glock pistol, check out the 42. Its compact size makes it a great choice for deep concealment. However, if you've got your stuff in 9mm, the Glock 43 might be the right choice for you. Still compact, it's a great choice for concealed carry.
